KNAUF: BoXy improves production and safety with acoustics in industrial settings.
BoXy solved acoustic issues at the KNAUF plant, improving productivity and worker safety. The high sound pressure level in production departments and offices forced the constant use of hearing protectors and limited the speed of production lines, also causing injuries. BoXy has soundproofed noise sources with silent booths, controlled access, and air handling systems. Results: more than 10 dBA reduction in sound pressure level in production departments and about 25 dBA reduction in offices, 10% increase in productivity, improvement in product quality, and zero accidents.
