In 2015, Manchester’s Royal Northern College chose Boxy for the second time. Having commissioned lecture halls a few years earlier, being faced with the need to create a full-fledged Auditorium with attached recording studio in a very short time and with assured performance, the choice immediately went to Boxy. The need was to build the entire structure during the summer break of the campus, a feat only possible with Boxy as requirements were to build a 12m X 11m X4m hall for 600 cubic meters, incorporating a visually connected recording studio of dimensions 3m x 4m x 2.5m, all with acoustic correction and air exchange system included. This work was completed in just under 20 days, allowing the college to reopen for business without any delay or disruption.
